Capturing mobile underwater pseudonoise synchronous signal using multi‐strategy in waveform domain

چکیده
Abstract Capturing pseudonoise (PN) synchronous signals is an important issue in spreading spectrum underwater acoustic communication. In this letter, local waveform domain information combined with multi‐strategy to enhance the Doppler tolerance of conventional Partial Matched Filtering‐Fast Fourier Transform (PMF‐FFT) acquisition algorithm under low signal‐to‐noise ratio (SNR). First, optimized based on partial reconstruction was proposed, such that increased by 38.9% when SNR = −15 dB. Second, a baseband multi‐waveform compression proposed further parallel search ability multiply. At last, frequency offset estimation completed after searching serially. The effectiveness verified through experiment at sea.

متن کاملSignal Detection in Underwater Sound Using the Empirical Mode Decomposition
In this article, the empirical mode decomposition (EMD) is introduced to the problem of signal detection in underwater sound. EMD is a new method pioneered by Huang et al. for non-linear and nonstationary signal analysis. Based on the EMD, any input data can be decomposed into a small number of intrinsic mode functions (IMFs) which can serve as the basis of non-stationary data for they are comp...

متن کاملMultistrategy learner using Complimentary Algorithms
We present a hybrid learning algorithm called Learning Algorithm using SEarch Rings (LASER). LASER combines Naive Bayes and 1-Nearest neighbor learners in a multistrategic way. The Naive Bayes and the Nearest Neighbor algorithms seem to compliment each other in their search technique and their bias and present a interesting category of learning algorithms called complimentary learners. LASER us...
